A work done in preparation for senior studio over the Winter break. This painting thematically will be similar to the work I produce this semester, but not in the same approach. I plan to more so “let the paint be paint”.
Helen Frankenthaler: “Painting is to be paint” …. let paint be paint. Also Frankenthaler discusses painting as reaction over action, which is compelling.
